Friends Of The Infatuation
Friends of The Infatuation is a membership club without the fancy handshakes. This nationwide, digital-first program will get you closer to The Infatuation team, and offers insider content, event invitations, personalized service, plus brand and restaurant perks.
We are currently not accepting new members as we work to expand and evolve programming and offerings. Join our waitlist to be the first to learn about Friends of The Infatuation updates.
Your FOTI membership newsletter will include info with giveaways and discount codes from some of our favorite brands. Plus, we have reciprocal benefits with organizations, like museums and other membership groups. We’ll highlight promotions that rotate monthly on upcoming experiences, limited offers, surprise swag from The Infatuation, and more.
We’ve partnered with some of our favorite restaurants in New York City and Los Angeles to bring exclusive dining perks to members, like free wine or bubbly, special access to reservations, or complimentary appetizers. Once you join you’ll receive a digital member card and code word with all the details to redeem.
Some of our brand partners include:
If you’re looking for eating and drinking advice, we’re always here to help. If you’ve got a specific question not covered by our guides (or you’re just extremely indecisive), members can email for personalized recommendations from Infatuation staff.
Through email@example.com send us requests such as:
- “Where should my ex and I meet for a second first date?”
- “What should I order for my birthday party to celebrate turning 30?”
- “Which spots have the best dumplings in Chinatown?”
Get pumped-up versions of The Infatuation content you know and love with members-only guides created by our teams across the country (and the world). Our Friends of The Infatuation Travel Guides not only tell you where to eat, but what to check out, where to stay, and how to do wherever you’re going right. And, we’ve got new, specialized content for members always in the works.

Not to brag, but we throw a pretty great party. Whether that’s in real life or on a computer screen, we bring together some of the best food, drinks, talent, and spaces virtually and across the country. For members, that means members-only experiences, connecting you with the restaurant industry and The Infatuation team. You’ll also get priority RSVP and special access to events we host with partners.
Some of the FOTI events we’ve hosted:
- A Big Night with FOTI in Greenpoint
- Night at Dinner Gallery with burgers from BK Jani
- Cooking demo with Kim Prince of LA’s Hotville Chicken
- A book launch / wine hang-out with our CEO, Chris Stang, and his How To Drink Wine co-author, Grant Reynolds
- Food photography tips & tricks with our Staff Photographer
- Sofar concert with some of our favorite pizza and desserts
Let’s Be Friends
About the program
Friends of The Infatuation gives you the opportunity to get more from The Infatuation - more access, more experiences, more recommendations, and more chances to spend time with us. Think of it as the formalization of a group under a common banner, or in this case, a ham horn logo.
Since the day we launched The Infatuation in 2009, there’s been one critical element behind every decision we’ve ever made: you. Join us to come along for the journey, and support The Infatuation. Feel free to drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org if you want more information or have any questions.
As the program evolves, existing members and those on the waitlist will be the first to know via email updates.
You’ll have access to the same general benefits - events, perks, content, service - all year, although specific offers may change. We’ll keep members updated as things evolve, and will ensure that we continue to deliver value to our members.
As an existing Friend of The Infatuation, there will be no additional dues and your membership will remain active at no charge into 2022 no matter the previously scheduled date of your renewal. Your membership has been converted into a loyalty plan and you will be notified before your membership renews or expires.
When you sign up, we’ll be asking you what your location preference is, but no matter what city you’re in, you can take advantage of whatever Friends of The Infatuation has going on. Most of the Friends of The Infatuation benefits are available digitally and across the United States, with some offers and experiences that are based in specific locations.
While restaurants and bars continue to reopen, we want to help our community explore some of our favorite places. We created a program that’s exclusive to our members to redeem offers and experiences at Infatuation-approved spots in NYC and LA, by showing a digital membership card (or redeeming via a code word). Restaurants are added monthly and these perks run through the end of 2021.
Many member experiences are reserved for Friends of The Infatuation only, but there may be parties throughout the year where you can bring a plus one. We’ll let you know when that’s the case.
We’re still available for any food and beverage related questions from members via email@example.com, and will provide up-to-date recommendations on where to eat or drink, whether you’re eating out or sticking to delivery and takeout. Due to COVID-19, we suspended Text Rex, the SMS-messaging restaurant recommendation service, and following the pandemic we are closing the Happy Hour Hotline.
Due to COVID-19, EEEEEATSCON in New York and Los Angeles has been postponed. FOTI members will be the first to know when there are any new announcements about the food festival or other experiences.
Yeah, we think you’re great. We’re also super impressed that you’re still reading all this.
That’s cool, we’d be happy to answer it. Just shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we’ll have a chat.
